Hypnotherapy to lose weight.

Hypnotherapy works by getting to the root of the weight problem, which for most people is in the their mind, not their body. If being over weight was just a body problem, then diets would work more often than they do. Hypnotherapy works by helping you focus on  your goal of being slim. Without the help of hypnotherapy, that goal may seem so far away, while the tempting chocolate was right there under your nose.  Maybe it's as if you want to lose weight, but "something in you" wants to eat and eat. That "something" is your "Inner Mind". Hypnotherapy enables you to make new rules for your own mind. Hypnotherapy can make your "Inner Mind" you friend and helper, not your enemy.

SELF HELP SLOT. For two or three days, make a list of everything you eat and drink, especially what you eat  and drink between meals. Many people have assured me that they do not eat that much, and have been amazed when they have kept such a list and found how much they eat and then forget about. If you are a woman, especially in middle age, get yourself a kitchen scales. When cooking, you may have got used to estimating quantities. But over the years, the quantities may have crept upwards without you noticing. If you have grown up children who have now left home, consider how many people you are actually cooking for now. Many women are actually still cooking for three or even four, even when there are now just two people in the house. If you have clothes that fitted you before you put on weight, get them out of your wardrobe and have a good look at them. Think about how nice it will be to be able to wear those clothes again when you have lost weight. If you don't have those clothes anymore, have a look around the shops and decide what kind of clothes you would like to wear in future, when you have lost weight with the help of hypnotherapy.
